Description

The Monocoupe 90 was a two-seat, light cabin airplane built by Donald A. Luscombe. Introduced in June, 1934, the Model 90A was an improved version of the 1930 Model 90. Although structurally the same as the earlier airplane, it featured a number of significant improvements. In addition to improved aerodynamic streamlining, it featured a cleaner “wire braced” landing gear, mechanically actuated wing flaps, a interior cabin, and a cabin door that was 50% larger. This package represents the model 90 and the modifications made from its release in 1934 through the 1940’s up to the present day. The 90 hp Lambert powered 90, the 125 and 145 Warner 90AW and the 165 hp Model 110 “Clipped Wing”. A 90AW float plane is also included. The flight dynamics have been programmed to reflect the power plants of each type.

Each model has a detailed and fully function virtual cockpit which is unique to each version.

The models are designed to be flown from the virtual cockpit and there is no 2D panel. Also due to the nature of the texture maps, FSX requires that SP2 be installed. Acceleration is not required. It is compatible with all versions of P3D. The product installer will give you the option of installing into FSX or your version of P3D.

The package includes a bonus scenery add-on that converts Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport to the racing venue at Cleveland Municipal Airport, home of the National Air Races from 1929 to the advent of World War Two.
